A retired Iowa Democrat is venting his frustration on Twitter after Donald Trump was declared dead in an apparent suicide.
In a tweet Thursday, Democrat Tim Dukes said that Trump “is dead” and “there is no reason to believe that he is alive.
There is no way to confirm the cause of his death.””
I was born and raised in Iowa, and I will continue to work with all Republicans to make sure that the president is removed from office and that all of the American people have the freedom to determine their own futures and their own future in the country,” Dukes wrote.”
This is what the country needs right now, not a dead president.”
A number of Republican senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee have called for Trump’s impeachment over the president’s repeated calls to ban Muslims from entering the country and to ban Muslim refugees from entering.
In late February, Trump issued a directive to federal agencies that required them to report to him any employees they could find who had traveled overseas to support terror groups.
That order was lifted on Monday, though a new one was issued late Tuesday.
The directive required agencies to report any overseas employees who have had contact with any foreign terrorist organization, including the Muslim Brotherhood.
