Arizona Highway closures are expected to remain in effect for the remainder of the week until Thursday.
The state’s largest highway system is expected to be closed Monday for a week.
Traffic is expected remain on the I-10 corridor.
There are several major freeway closures on the road.
The I-15 freeway closure is expected at around 3 p.m. and will affect the I80 freeway and I-11 highway.
On the eastbound side of the I40, there is a road closure.
A major road closure on I-40 southbound in Tucson is expected Thursday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m., and the closure will impact all lanes in the east and southbound lanes, and the I120 highway and I90 freeway.
Another major road lane closure is scheduled for the I20 in Tucson, at 10 p.p.m.; there are two lanes that are closed in both directions between the I10 and I20, with one lane open in both direction.
I-15 southbound is expected closing for approximately two hours and a half between the mile marker 8 and mile marker 14, and there is another major road lanes closure for approximately a half hour between mile markers 6 and 10.
As of Wednesday, July 27, there were more than 40,000 vehicles on the highway.
I-10 southbound has an estimated 4,000 lanes, I-20 northbound has 1,500 lanes, both highways are expected closing by 8 p.b.m, and I80 is expected closed at 7:30 p.r.m on Thursday.
Traffic on the westbound side is expected being impacted with a major closure on the freeway, while traffic on the east is expected not to be impacted.
It is unclear what road closures are anticipated for I-25 in Tucson.
Tucson will continue to see large amounts of traffic during the week.
